PERRY MASON Premieres on HBO
I think the luckiest part about my acting career is having had the opportunity to appear on so many incredible TV shows & Movies, many of which, I would not have watched (or even known about!) before I shot them. But after working on those sets and being so impressed by the writing and cast/crew, I thought, “Yeah…maybe I’ll check them out!”, and I got hooked.
Well, I got real lucky again.
Last week was the premiere of the new limited series “Perry Mason” on HBO, and I’m already hooked after Chapter One. Granted, I’m a sucker for 1930’s Los Angeles, & gritty, violent re-imaginings, so take this with a grain of salt. But the acting, set pieces, cinematography are incredible.
As for the acting: “…that’s just scratching the surface of all the characters in this massive ensemble and the solid acting work done all around…” (Jen Chaney, Vulture).
I’ll just say I’m lucky to have worked with that ensemble of very solid actors.
I appear in this Sunday’s (6/28) episode aptly named “Chapter 2”, as Mr. Harte, co-owner of a funeral home.
Please join me for some appointment TV on HBO!
