FORD V FERRARI opens today!

Opening day is finally here!

I had an exclusive screening of “Ford v Ferrari” last week, followed by a Q&A with the stars. Both my biased & un-biased opinions are this movie is SO INCREDIBLY GOOD! I can’t say enough great things about it. For such a large-scale racing-themed film, it’s remains intimate and grounded in personal relationships - great grown-up movie-making. (And 91% Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes doesn’t hurt either).

I play an executive with Brumos/Porsche scouting drivers for our racing team, & I can be found in the first Willow Springs race scene. Some behind-the-scenes info: We shot the Willow Springs scene(s) at the actual historic racetrack, over the course of a week in July of 2018. The ambient temperature was about 115-degrees everyday, which meant for all of us down on the tarmac, it was approximately 125+degrees. Imagine all the stars, day-players and 200 background artists (all in 60’s period clothing), plus 200+ crew members cooking in the sun filming it. And can you guess who never left the outdoors the whole time? Christian. He loved the heat for helping him stay in character. The rest of us were running to our trailers or the AC tents!

It was an honor to briefly work with Matt Damon, Christian Bale, & of course, the genius of James Mangold.

Hope you make out to the theatres for this one - preferably a theatre with great sound!

Enjoy!!
