KIDDING & CALL OF THE WILD - Busy Winter!
It’s been such a busy new-year shooting episodes of Just Roll With It, that I’ve forgotten to post about two BIG appearances. So, let me play catch up!
This past February, I co-starred on an episode of Showtime’s “Kidding” (ep. “The Death of Fil”) in a couple scenes with Jim Carrey and Catherine Keener. Three days shooting on a boat in Long Beach, playing Monsieur Cornichon (the French Mr. Pickles). It was a blast working with them and Oscar-winner/director Michel Gondry. And I made a few new great friends with some of the other “international” Pickleses. You can still find the episode on Showtime!
Last but NOT least, was the premiere of “Call of the Wild” starring Harrison Ford, which opened in February. It was such a thrill to go to the theatre with my family and watch this epic tale. I remember reading it in school, and this is very much a kid-friendly take on the story. It was like watching the sweeping Disney-family movies I grew up with as a kid.
Filming it was incredible, because I shot it…twice! We shot it once with me playing one character (Merchant), then a year later again as another character (Attorney). The first scene got completely scrapped, and then they had us back with a newer, much better scene. The honor was all mine, because I got to work with Harrison Ford, not once, but twice. He’s kiiiinda the whole reason I wanted to become an actor as a kid, so…check that one off the ol’ Actor-Bucket-list.
It’s available now on Amazon Prime for purchase (and maybe rental?).
